We want something from you, please.
Before we became JAC AND, we were... JAC&. A small change some might say, but an emotional one for us. To help soothe our torn souls, we decided to say goodbye to our ampersand in a grand way.
We've always found it funny how difficult people find it to draw/write an ampersand. Drawn by the human hand they take on their own life, less of a symbol, more a work of art. So, we're asking people to draw their own arty ampersands as part of a special project we are creating. They needn’t be perfect (it’s better if they’re not really) so feel free to create as you wish and use any kind of tools you like - pencil, pen, paint, lipstick..mud! When you're done, send them back to us to feature in the project. We can’t tell you much about it, or when it will be finished, but all shall be revealed soon.
But how do I get involved?
You want in? We're thrilled! There's not much to it really, just draw some ampersands (however many you like) and send them to us. If you're in Australia and are nostalgic about the letterbox, we're happy to send you some sketching materials and a reply-paid envelope. If you're further abroad, you're welcome to email them to us. Either way, get in our inbox with your postal address or ampersands.

Many thanks to everyone for their involvement so far. It's really a joy to receive them every other day. We love how varied the submissions are, from quick rough sketches to motion clips, they are all incredibly creative and unique.
