Remodern

Remodern partner with progressive designers, curating and championing experimental and innovative thinkers. Their exclusively represented brands are hand-selected for their commitment to quality and craftsmanship, as much as their originality and inimitable outlook. Remodern approached JAC AND for a brand refinement, which led to some big business moves where everyone got more than they bargained for.

ALIGNMENT ASSIGNMENT.

In our early discussions, we heard how passionate Remodern were about progressive experimental design, the kind that sits beyond trends. At the time, only a small handful of the brands they represented truly fit that bill. In the strategy phase, Remodern made an incredibly brave business decision to cut ties with the majority of their brands, bringing the business and brand into alignment.

"Our journey began with (what we thought would be) a straightforward brand refinement. Diving into Remodern's brand strategy showed us fairly quickly that we weren't honouring our true passion. We had spread ourselves too thin and lost clarity along the way. With this realisation, we had no choice in the matter. The next year was spent stripping back and rebuilding.”

— Jennifer Schilbach, Remodern Director

BRAND INFORMS BUSINESS. BUSINESS INFORMS BRAND.

Our early discussions and strategy had a big impact on Remodern, and in turn, their bold business move made a big impression on us. Motivated and inspired, we created a brand that has the confidence to stand out from the crowd. Design-led, but not trend-driven.

Remodern and the progressive designers they partner with now sing in harmony.

A NEW STORY TO TELL.

It’s not often that you get to reap the rewards of a brand launch twice, but when everything is demolished and rebuilt you’re entitled to a second first impression. Remodern’s new brand and business model make for clear and purposeful marketing, leaving them well-equipped to reinvigorate existing relationships and open exciting new doors.
